October 27, 2025: Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival

This past weekend marked an exciting milestone for us — Kalasi Cellars participated in the Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival for the very first time! Set in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg, the festival brought together some of Texas’ best wineries, chefs, breweries, and distilleries for a celebration of local flavor and craftsmanship.

We were honored to be part of both Friday’s Wine Barrel Auction as well as Saturday’s Grand Tasting. The auction gathered 25+ local wineries, each pouring a special wine and auctioning off two cases for charity. We are happy to say that our cases were among the top 5 highest sought after, and contributed over $1,800 toward the over $39,000 raised from the entire event!

The following day we poured at the Grand Tasting. There we poured some of our favorite, highly rated wines from our 2022 vintage for many familiar faces and many more first-time tasters (about 2,500 attendees were expected!). It was rewarding to see how many people connected with our wines and appreciated how we are elevating Texas wine. We also had a chance to catch up with wine critic Jonathan Cristaldi and pour some new wines for him to review.

Being part of the Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival reminded us why we do what we do — crafting expressive, world-class wines here in Texas and sharing them with passionate wine lovers.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s festival and can’t wait to pour what’s next from Kalasi Cellars!
